This time, our trip to Miami wasn’t planned the usual way; you know, with spreadsheets, frantic googling, and five emotional meltdowns over which neighborhood has the best tacos. Nope.
We outsourced the job… to a robot 🤖.
Yes, you read that right. We let ChatGPT plan our long week-end in Miami.
Our prompt? “Draft a 5-day itinerary in Miami for influencers.” Because clearly, we are very important internet people and needed a trip that was more stylish than sensible. We asked for unusual spots, Instagrammable restaurants, and minimal effort. What we got? A curated lineup of hidden gems and vibey meals. Did we regret trusting a robot with our vacation? Not even for a second. In fact… we kind of love you, ChatGPT.
For each day, we asked ChatGPT to pick a cool place to check out 🤳 and a great spot to where we could eat 🍽️ simple plan, awesome results. ChatGPT, you understood the assignment. You delivered. You even made us look cool. Which, frankly, is a miracle.

🤷♂️ What Am I Even Doing Here? Working. (because, you know ... capitalism) I was already in Florida for work. Instead of flying home like a responsible adult, I made the decision to extend my stay and take a little "vacation." You know, the kind of break where you still wake up tired, spend too much money, and end up with sand in your shoes and your soul.
Now, I’ve been to Miami before. I’ve done the whole South Beach scene, sunburns, overpriced mojitos, and pretending I enjoy club music while silently begging to go back to my hotel room and sit in silence. So this time, I set myself a challenge: find the parts of Miami I haven’t seen yet and eat good food (and "maybe" going back to South Beach for an hour!).
Day 1: 🤳 Influencer Moment: Villa Vizcaya and Gardens 🍽️ Pause for Calories: Dinner at Ariete
We kicked off our Miami adventure with a splash, literally, because day one came with rain. Tropical, dramatic, Instagram-filter-free rain. But did we let that stop us? Of course not. We headed there to explore a giant, lavish mansion built for summer parties. Inside? Think: chandeliers, secret passageways, a dozen bedrooms and more bathrooms than you can dream of. Oh, and “men-only” parties? Hmmmm. Let’s just say the guest list was… curated. James Deering, the original owner, clearly believed in mystery, marble, and a very exclusive vibe.

Eventually, the rain stopped and we wandered the gardens which, no joke, looked like the gardens at Versailles with naked statues everywhere, hidden caves and koi ponds.
There was even a grand arrival area for boats, because apparently driving up like a peasant wasn’t an option. And yes, all of this was just the summer house. Because ... of course it was.
We wrapped up our visit with a quick lunch at the villa café, where I rewarded myself for all the "culture" with an overpriced sandwich and a mental note to never forget an umbrella again.

After immersing ourselves in the enchanting Gilded Age ambiance at Vizcaya, we were thrilled to continue our adventure by dining at Ariete in Coconut Grove! Coconut Grove is an absolutely delightful neighborhood in Miami, with lush greenery, a vibrant arts scene, a laid-back vibe, and a great mix of trendy shops and cozy cafes. We spent some time walking around and, then, found our table at Ariete. I must admit, the blend of Cuban and New American flavors pleasantly surprised me. It was a very good meal (the flan was delicious!!).
That said, I did feel the pricing leaned a bit high for what we got but it is probably because the restaurant is awarded a Michelin star. It’s definitely more of a special occasion place than a casual night out. But the atmosphere is beautiful, modern with rustic touches and it fits perfectly into the vibe of Coconut Grove, which is a quiet, lush, and charming neighborhood in Miami. Overall, this was a good choice and a great dinner. Just be ready to splurge a little.

Day 2: 🤳 Influencer Moment: the Everglades 🍽️ Pause for Calories: Dinner at Cecconi's Miami Beach
Time to trade luxurious mansion vibes for swamp chic because Day 2 was all about getting wild in the Everglades. We drove about 45 minutes out of Miami and hopped on an airboat tour to go find some wildlife. We picked Buffalo Tiger Airboat Tours after diving into online reviews. This spot kept popping up as the must-do airboat experience in the Everglades, and it totally delivered. Family-owned and run by members of the Miccosukee Tribe, it was a good choice.
We loved that it was all about the real Everglades and were able to see birds flying all over and, of course, crocs, not the shoes 🐊. Big ones. Small ones. Baby ones that made us squeal (look at that picure below!). The one-hour tour was super fun.

Cecconi’s at the Soho Beach House in Miami Beach is a total vibe. The decor is absolutely gorgeous, with its elegant and cozy atmosphere making it the perfect spot for both a meal and an Insta moment. The interiors are stylish, with soft lighting, lush greenery, and an inviting outdoor patio. We decided we wanted to eat on the patio. As for the food, it did not disappoint.
The Italian menu is filled with fresh, flavorful dishes. We had the pasta and some of the seafood options, and they were perfectly executed. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a picture. Between the chic vibes, the impeccable decor, and the great food, Cecconi’s is one of those spots that you’ll want to return to every time you're in Miami.

Day 3: 🤳 Influencer Moment: Wynwood Art Walls 🍽️ Pause for Calories: Dinner at Sexy Fish
POV: You woke up feeling extra creative, threw on your most colorful outfit, and hit Wynwood because you heard it’s where influencers go to become ✨mural-level iconic✨.
Wynwood is Miami’s bold, artsy playground; a neighborhood that feels like someone handed a spray can to every creative genius and said, “Go wild.” The streets are an open-air gallery of jaw-dropping murals, colorful walls, and vibrant energy. It’s the kind of place where every corner is begging for a selfie, and even the dumpsters look stylish. Packed with cool galleries, quirky shops, craft breweries, and that effortlessly hip Miami vibe, Wynwood is where art, culture, and fun collide in the most Instagrammable way possible. I spent a good hour pretending I understood the deeper meaning of street art while secretly wondering if this would look better in Valencia or Oslo filter (spoiler: it’s always Valencia).

But let’s talk about the real highlight: the mysterious little bar we found in the back of a random alley. Yes, an alley. Yes, in broad daylight. Was it a trap? Maybe. Did we go in anyway? Obviously. Turns out it was this vibey garage-bar situation with music, dancing, and cold drinks, a.k.a. everything you need when the sun is personally trying to melt you. That was super fun.
Wynwood, you unpredictable, graffiti-covered fever dream ChatGPT told us to go, and like the obedient little content creators we are, we went. Were we ready for art, color, and stumbling into a garage bar dance party at 2 PM? Absolutely not. But did we pretend like this was our plan all along? Obviously.

If you're looking for a stunning, Instagram-worthy spot, Sexy Fish is the place. The decor is absolutely mind-blowing. It’s like dining inside an art gallery with an underwater twist. From the wildly beautiful fish sculptures to the vibrant, luxurious seating, every corner of this restaurant screams "photo op." And yes, the food is just as spectacular as the decor.
The sushi and seafood dishes are not only delicious but beautifully presented, making it impossible not to snap a few pics before diving in. Oh, and don’t miss the restrooms; they're an experience in themselves! The bathroom alone is worth a visit (I won't say more). Overall, I loved the atmosphere, the vibe, and, of course, the delicious food. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and an even better ambiance for the ‘gram.

Day 4: 🤳 Influencer Moment: Little Havana 🍽️ Pause for Calories: Dinner at Joe's Stone Crab
If there’s one way to enjoy a Miami trip, it’s by cranking up the culture, flavor, and cafecito levels to maximum and that’s exactly what we did in Little Havana. We kicked things off with a classic Cuban breakfast. Fueled by sugar and joy, we set out to explore the iconic Calle Ocho. Between vibrant murals, domino-playing abuelos at Maximo Gomez Park, cigar rollers doing their magic, and quirky little shops, this neighborhood was bursting with personality. We found statues, music on the sidewalks, more art, and yes, plenty of photo ops. We even came across an amazing mural of Mister 305, Pitbull (with 305 symbolizing Miami's zipcode), as well as a stunning mural paying tribute to Celia Cruz.

Every corner felt like a colorful postcard and every step came with a beat. It was the perfect blend of history, heart, and highly Instagrammable vibes. And let’s not forget the dozens of very confident, very colorful roosters strutting around Calle Ocho, not real ones, just painted statues on every corner. Nothing says “¡bienvenidos!” like a giant, flamboyant 🐓 staring you down as you sip your cafecito.

After several trips to Miami filled with promises, plans, and last-minute detours (usually involving cocktails or naps), we finally made it to the legendary Joe’s Stone Crab! Yes, the Joe’s where Miami’s culinary royalty dine on claws and coleslaw like it’s a sacred ritual. Open since 1913, this institution is more than just a restaurant, it’s a rite of passage. As the name suggests, Joe’s Stone Crab is best known for its namesake dish, and rightfully so. The stone crabs are excellent 🦀 (though they're not easy to eat!), tender, sweet, and perfectly paired with a tangy mustard sauce. The vibe? Old-school Miami glam meets seafood fever dream. Worth the hype? Absolutely. It’s a bit of a splurge, but if you’re in Miami, this spot is absolutely worth the visit.

Day 5: 🤳 Influencer Moment: South Beach 🍽️ Pause for Calories: Dinner at Gianni's Versace Mansion
It was our last day in Miami, and after four days of content creation, crocodile spotting, and alleyway bar-hopping, it was time to... chill. So, we declared it: beach day.
But let’s be real, a beach day in South Beach isn’t about swimming. It’s about watching. Staring. Silently judging. Applauding. Gasping. On one side: Ocean Drive, a parade of crop tops, questionable tattoos, and people rollerblading in slow motion like it's 1994. On the other: the beach, where you’ll witness enough muscle mass and surgical enhancement to qualify as a live anatomy lesson. Lips so plump they could float. Butts? Engineered for aerodynamic excellence.

If you're looking for a truly memorable dining experience in Miami, Gianni’s at the former Versace Mansion is a must. I can’t get enough of this place, it’s not just about the food, it’s about the entire experience. The villa and decor are absolutely stunning, and dining next to the pool surrounded by gorgeous mosaics makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. It’s an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else in Miami.

As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and authentic the Italian dishes are. The flavors are rich, but nothing feels overly fussy, just great, honest Italian cooking. And for a place with so much glamour, the food is surprisingly not overpriced. It’s totally worth it! Every time we’re in Miami, we make it a point to return. I love this place! From the food to the ambiance, it’s a spot that never disappoints.

🪫Energy Level For This Adventure? Let’s be honest, I didn’t exactly train for a triathlon before heading to Miami. And thankfully, I didn’t need to. This trip was more about restaurant-hopping, mural-spotting, and cocktail-sipping than anything that would require a Fitbit. Sure, we zigzagged across the city chasing ChatGPT-approved gems, but with Uber, iced coffee, and blind optimism, anything is possible. There were moments that tested my endurance, like melting into the pavement in Wynwood’s pizza-oven heat, or channeling my inner wet dog at Villa Vizcaya in the rain. But despite that, I somehow managed to keep up with ChatGPT’s glam-but-doable itinerary, even without typing “please go easy on me” into the prompt. So yes, energy level? Think nap-ready, not nap-required.
